What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care is a growing movement to make medical care more affordable, more accessible, and more convenient for both doctors and patients. For the cost of just a few dollars a day, you have access to not just a doctor, but YOUR doctor. No middlemen, no copays, no surprise bills, no nonsense!

Do you take insurance?

No, we do not bill insurance for any of our services, since they are all covered under your monthly fee. We never bill insurance, never collect a copay, and never send you an unexpected bill. Outside labs and imaging have been pre-negotiated with outside vendors at discounted prices, but you may use insurance for these services if you wish.

What if I need a specialist or hospital stay?

Though insurance is never required to be a patient of Medina Direct Family Medicine, we do encourage you to maintain some type of insurance or cost share plan in case of an unexpected need to see a specialist, have a surgery, or medical emergency. The beauty is, with the improved access to care and time spent with your doctor, many times we can prevent or reduce the need for hospitalizations, ER visits, and specialty referrals.

Do you see patients with Medicare?

Currently we are not able to see Medicare patients. Please join the wait list and we will keep you informed when this changes.
